About Ken

Learn more about Ken Symsack’s journey, values, and commitment to the Windsor community.

Logic over noise and community over politics.

Ken Symsack brings a unique blend of experience to the Windsor Town Board. From his years as a teacher shaping young minds, to working as a chef where every detail matters, to his current role in data analytics and systems administration at Colorado State University’s dining services, Ken understands what it means to serve people and make sound financial decisions. Ken earned his culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of America, followed by a Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management, and later a Master’s in Adult Education from Colorado State University – a journey that reflects his commitment to both excellence and lifelong learning.

His background has taught him to listen carefully, analyze complex data, and make decisions that balance competing needs – skills that translate directly to effective local government. Whether reviewing municipal budgets, evaluating policy proposals, or responding to constituent concerns, Ken applies the same analytical rigor and practical problem-solving he’s brought to every role in his career.

Beyond his Town Board service, Ken serves on the Parks, Recreation and Culture Board, Windsor Arts Commission, and Kern Reservoir and Ditch Company Board – giving him deep insight into the issues that matter most to Windsor families.

Ken and his wife, a local teacher, are raising two young children in Windsor. They’re invested in this community’s future because it’s their family’s future too. Every decision Ken makes on the Town Board keeps families in mind.

Ken was appointed to the District 4 seat in July 2024 and has worked diligently to represent his neighbors with integrity and accessibility. Now he’s asking District 4 voters to elect him to continue this work.
